My name is Blake Jackson, and I am the owner and chef at Drake Catering in Shreveport, Louisiana. Sometimes you don’t know what you are getting yourself into. But food found me, and I’m glad it did. Drake is the labor of an entire family that has always supported my dreams, and now they are the backbone of our operation. My brother-in-law, Andre Dicharry, is my co-chef, bringing his Cajun culinary touch from Bunkie, Louisiana. My parents are an unwavering source of ideas and help. My siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephew are the best taste testers around. And my friends are always willing to tie on an apron and lend a hand at events. Good friends, good family, good food!
